Hey there my sweet spring flowers,
long time no see! Your girl was tingling between concerts, cities and park dates with beautiful souls. Besides, I had the pleasure to direct a music video of a very sweet upcoming pop musician who is working on his solo debut. With loads of sweet people. And even more sweet fashion. Which is the reason, you haven’t heard of me that long.
As I promised something special in my last post, today you will get the first-ever double shoot on this channel! I paired up with one of the most iconic ladies I know - Jodie - to catch in some springspiration (ugh, I cringed on that wordplay, too. Sorry.)
I’d describe Jodies Fashion as sporty classic. Comfortable elements combined with fashionable statement pieces - always comfortable, but never boring. Despite, looking at that gorgeous face, how could this stunning woman ever look boring?
I liked the idea of putting up a sporty spring outfit (Jodie), next to an elegant classic one (Yoko).. Choose your fav (...and end up mixing and combining both, ‘cause that is what 2022 - fashion longs for, anyway.)
Jodies look is a combination of sneakers with ribbed tennis socks paired with cycling shorts (HOT ENOUGH FOR THOSE AGAIN, YAY) and a green, striped blouse.
The blouse is loosely knotted, which emphasizes the waist and shorts; showing off those gorgeous curves. Coming back to the sporty red line of the look, she paired the base with a long lined leather jacket - breaking up the figure-hugging silhouette again and balancing the shapes from tight to loose out.
The little extra something is the beautiful tied-up scarf in her hair, going along with the beige soft handbag.
My look is a very simple combination of earthy tones and springy fabrics.
You’ll find a pale green, layered neckholder top in a cropped size, that people with broad shoulders like mine can emphasize perfectly well. I combined the top with some beige linen-jeans and a simple brown suede trenchcoat.
To bring in some accents, I added a lime green bag and yellow, round sunglasses. For accessorize, I chose some brown hoops, matching the earthy colour palette.
What brings them both looks together, despite both of us being the hot snacks we naturally are as persons, is our colour of choice in this case - pale green. You find it in both, Jodies and my, top.
Despite, the watchful eye might’ve already noticed - the bag. In jodies case, the look itself is “louder” through the accents she set, so she balanced it out by taking the beige one. In my case, I went for the lime green one, for my look is rather “quiet”.
Now on to our … Jodie Drip Tip! Collaborating with me, I asked her to recommend something to you, and here it is:
„since the aesthetics of this shooting scream ‚woodfairy painting but make it low key“ i‘d recommend for you to listen to ‚mr. sun‘ by greentea peng which matches the blooming of spring and longing for warmer days“
